Traffic and planning on agend at local MP’s meeting
Residents of Gwynfyrn, Rodfa Frank, Station Road and Heol Hayden took part in a very successful public meeting on Friday (January 25th) with their local MP to discuss a number of issues affecting the area. Adam Price met with over 40 constituents who brought concerns about traffic problems and local developments. Alongside local Councillor John Edwards, Adam Price now intends to call a meeting with the Council’s Chief Executive Mark James as well as Ammanford Collage to look at ways to alleviate the traffic concerns in the area.
Adam Price MP said:
“It was an excellent meeting and I am pleased that so many people could attend. There are concerns from residents about the traffic in the area and I am hoping that through the meetings I will be seeking with the council and the collage we will be able to address them.”
Adam Price added:
“There is also a question of the impact the proposed housing development behind Heol Hayden. I will be seeking a meeting with Council planning officers to discuss this and to raise the issues that were brought first hand by local residents to the Council’s attention.
