GP Surgery Campaign Gets Local Backing

A petition with over a hundred signatures urging a return of a GP’s surgery in Llandybie has been sent to Carmarthenshire Local Health Board. Adam Price MP, who started the petition, has written to Carmarthenshire LHB with the petition backing the campaign.

Adam Price MP said:

“I have sent a copy of the petition to Carmarthenshire LHB and urged them to look at the possibility of returning a provision to the village. There is overwhelming local support for this campaign and I hope Carmarthen LHB’s response is positive.”

Adam added:

“The response has been fantastic. This is clearly a big issue in Llandybie. There is a recognised need for a GP’s surgery in the area. The number of people, who have signed this petition, as well as the online petition, shows how strongly people feel about this in Llandybie.”
