Cilycwm Broadband Concerns Taken Up With BT

The lack of broadband access in Cilycwm has been taken up again by the areas MP. Adam Price MP, who have been a long standing campaigner for better internet facilities, has written to BT regarding the standard of access in the village. Adam has called on BT to clarify what work has been done in order to provide services for the community and when residents can expect to be able to access broadband.

Adam Price MP said:

“Broadband services are essential to both the local economy and in a social sense. It is unacceptable that areas like Cilycwm are being left out of the loop whilst other parts of Wales are being provided for. Hopefully a solution can be found and broadband can be provided for the village.”

Adam added:

“We have been in contact with BT for a long time trying to ensure that residents in the village can get access to broadband services. We have asked that they confirm what work has been undertaken to rectify the situation in Cilycwm and when a full service can be expected in the village.”
